Country Lead UK (AI x Greentech) (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company in the renewable energy sector. They are seeking a Country Lead to take ownership of their UK market expansion from their Berlin headquarters. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale operations in a purpose-driven organization that serves SMB clients in the solar and heat-pump installation space.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Berlin, requiring five days per week in office. C2 English proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of UK market strategy and operations, connecting a team of five talented professionals
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and business development teams to understand and prioritize evolving market needs
• Maintain hands-on involvement in both sales and account management activities, building strong relationships with SMB clients in the renewable installation sector
• Conduct product demonstrations and manage customer retention strategies
• Support team members in managing larger, high-value accounts
• Track and build systems for monitoring market intelligence, customer feedback, competitive landscape, and industry trends
• Serve as the bridge between market insights and the product development team

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in SMB software sales or Account Management
• Proven experience launching or implementing go-to-market strategies in new markets
• Direct knowledge of UK SMB sales dynamics and go-to-market approaches
• Firsthand experience living or working in the UK market
• Strong closing skills combined with a collaborative working style
• Passion for product innovation and the renewable energy sector
• Proactive, flexible, and resilient in fast-changing startup environments
• C2 level English communication skills (required)
