Sailpoint Functional Testing Security Analyst

Xcelenergy is hiring a Sailpoint Functional Testing Security Analyst to strengthen our identity governance testing and security practices across 2 Locations. This full-time position focuses on validating Sailpoint platform functionality and ensuring robust access management controls.

About the Role

As a Sailpoint Functional Testing Security Analyst, you will own the testing and validation of Sailpoint identity management systems to ensure they meet organizational security requirements and performance standards. You'll work directly with infrastructure and security teams to verify that access controls function correctly and configurations align with compliance frameworks. This is a hands-on position where your testing expertise directly impacts the security posture of critical identity systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional test cases for Sailpoint environments, including identity provisioning, access requests, and user lifecycle management
• Conduct security-focused testing to validate authentication controls, authorization policies, and role-based access configurations
• Document test findings, including defects, gaps, and recommendations for remediation
• Validate Sailpoint deployments against established security baselines and regulatory compliance requirements
• Support regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles for system updates
• Work collaboratively with identity architects and security teams to refine test strategies

Who We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Sailpoint platforms (IdentityIQ, Identity Cloud, or similar solutions)
• Strong foundation in identity and access management (IAM) concepts and security controls
• Ability to create comprehensive, well-documented test cases and technical findings reports
• Experience in functional and security testing practices
• Understanding of IT security compliance and risk frameworks
• Detail-oriented approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills
