What This Role Involves

As Principal SC Capital Project Specialist at Xcelenergy, you'll oversee significant capital projects from conception through completion. This full-time position requires hands-on senior leadership of complex infrastructure initiatives, comprehensive budget stewardship, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder engagement to deliver projects aligned with Xcelenergy's operational and strategic objectives.

What You'll Do

• Direct planning, execution, and closeout of major capital projects across the service territory
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize outcomes
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Monitor project performance metrics, scope adherence, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Identify project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve complex challenges

• Present project status updates, deliverables, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
