Registered Nurse – ASG (Remote, New Brunswick, CA)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Registered Nurse for a remote tele-triage role based in New Brunswick, Canada. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing compassionate patient care through phone-based clinical assessments.

In this role, you'll conduct telephone triage for a variety of conditions including headaches, chest pain, injuries, and mental health concerns. Using clinical solution software, you'll assess symptoms, document cases thoroughly, and provide evidence-based healthcare advice while maintaining strict safety protocols. Your calm demeanor and practical guidance will help patients navigate their health concerns with confidence.

This is a 24/7 operation offering schedule flexibility with options for either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week. You'll benefit from a comprehensive 6-week paid training program combining virtual classroom instruction, self-directed learning, and hands-on practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone-based patient triage and assessment for diverse medical conditions
• Utilize clinical software systems to document patient interactions and case details
• Provide health care advice and guidance following established clinical protocols
• Assess patient symptoms and determine appropriate next steps for care
• Maintain calm, professional communication during patient interactions
• Adhere to safety protocols and nursing standards of practice
• Participate in ongoing training and quality assurance activities
• May utilize approved AI tools to support clinical workflows and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Current resident of Canada, specifically New Brunswick
• Nursing degree or diploma with at least one (1) year of post-registration clinical experience
• Acute care experience strongly preferred
• Active registration with NANB (Nurses Association of New Brunswick) and the province where you reside
• Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal communication abilities
• Computer literacy and comfort with clinical software systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Self-directed learning capability
• Previous call centre experience considered an asset
• Bilingual capability (French/English) is advantageous
• Dedicated home office space with desk and comfortable chair
• High-speed internet with ability to hardwire connection to provided equipment
• Must successfully complete background check
