Product Owner (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization seeking a Product Owner to shape digital products, processes, and solutions that deliver real value. In this role, you'll own the product vision, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and bring together business units, IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners. You'll think situationally—using agile or traditional approaches based on what genuinely works.

This position is based in Berlin with significant travel requirements to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and strategic visions for digital products, processes, and solutions
• Structure and prioritize requirements, translating them into implementable solutions with project stakeholders
• Guide digital solutions through all phases from conception through launch and ongoing development
• Plan and coordinate IT and digitalization projects while managing goals, timelines, quality, and resources
• Create transparency around progress, dependencies, and open decisions
• Gather, challenge, structure, and align requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Moderate diverse interests and drive decision-making processes
• Support change management to successfully anchor new processes and solutions within organizations
• Advise on evaluation and selection of appropriate digital solutions and technologies
• Support procurement processes, including tenders and proposal evaluations as needed
• Prepare complex topics in accessible formats and support users through workshops, training sessions, and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in digital projects, IT projects, product development, or comparable roles with direct ownership
• Strong understanding of user needs, business processes, and technical relationships
• Ability to structure complexity and drive decisions forward
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)
• High willingness to travel (50% presence required at client sites, including Würzburg)
• Situational thinking—choosing methodologies and approaches based on what delivers results rather than following rigid frameworks
