Product Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential biotechnology organization headquartered in Berlin. Our client develops solutions for quality control and contamination detection used globally in scientific research and biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Our talent team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join their marketing department.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Berlin with hybrid flexibility (2 days home office per week after onboarding). You'll work at the intersection of science and marketing, translating complex technical products into clear, compelling messaging for B2B audiences worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop target-audience-specific marketing strategies, positioning, and core messaging for existing and new products in the life sciences sector
• Translate complex scientific content into accessible, persuasive communication across multiple formats
• Conceive, create, and coordinate scientifically sound marketing materials including data sheets, presentations, posters, flyers, website content, newsletters, webinars, social media posts, and product training materials
• Ensure scientific and technical quality of product communication in collaboration with application specialists and product development teams
• Work with design and web development teams to implement content visually and digitally
• Identify new communication formats and channels for the product portfolio
• Develop launch messaging, campaigns, and materials for new product introductions in collaboration with product management, development, and sales
• Plan and coordinate digital marketing campaigns for lead generation and international commercialization
• Refine positioning based on market and sales feedback
• Create sales enablement materials such as presentations, product comparisons, and argumentation guides
• Support sales with international distributor and customer activities including training sessions, trade shows, and roadshows

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or a comparable scientific discipline
• Initial professional experience in product marketing, product management, sales, or a comparable B2B environment; multiple years preferred
• Knowledge of PCR/qPCR/dPCR, quality control, biopharmaceuticals, or cell and gene therapy is ideal
• Enthusiasm for understanding complex scientific concepts and making them accessible to diverse audiences
• Excellent communication skills with very good German and English proficiency, both written and spoken
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style with strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Initiative, creativity, and enthusiasm for contributing and implementing your own ideas
• Strong team orientation and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Customer- and market-oriented thinking
