Produce Department Manager

Farm Boy Inc. is seeking an experienced Produce Department Manager to lead our fresh produce operations in Kitchener, Ontario. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic team while ensuring our customers receive the highest quality fresh produce.

As Produce Department Manager for Farm Boy Inc. in Kitchener, you'll oversee all aspects of our produce department, from inventory management to customer satisfaction. Core Duties

• Manage daily produce department operations, including ordering, receiving, and quality control
• Supervise and train produce staff to ensure excellent customer service and food safety standards
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimise waste and maximise freshness
• Maintain visually appealing displays that showcase produce and encourage sales
• Oversee pricing, promotions, and merchandising to meet sales targets
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments to support store operations and customer needs

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in produce or grocery retail management
• Strong knowledge of fresh produce quality, handling, and storage
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication abilities
• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
