Digital Press Operator

Farm Boy Inc. is hiring a full-time Digital Press Operator in Mississauga, ON, to join our marketing production team. If you have experience operating digital printing equipment and delivering high-quality output on deadline, we'd like to hear from you.

Role Overview

As a Digital Press Operator with Farm Boy Inc., you'll manage the day-to-day operation of digital printing equipment to produce marketing materials and communications. You'll be responsible for setup, production runs, quality monitoring, and maintenance of press systems to meet our marketing and promotional output requirements. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to our brand visibility and customer engagement initiatives across Mississauga and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate digital press equipment according to job specifications and production schedules
• Prepare and load files, manage colour settings, and adjust equipment parameters for optimal print quality
• Perform routine quality checks throughout production runs to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Monitor ink levels, paper supplies, and other consumables; notify management when replenishment is needed
• Troubleshoot common equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and cleaning
• Document production details, track job progress, and communicate with the marketing team on status
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining safety and workplace standards

Requirements

• Proven experience operating digital press or similar production equipment
• Knowledge of colour management, file formats, and print production workflows
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and technical documentation
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality output
• Reliability and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical capability to lift materials and stand for extended periods during production shifts
