Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver – Indy South

Dungarvin is seeking full-time Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals we serve in the Franklin and greater Indianapolis South communities. As a DSP/Caregiver with Dungarvin, you'll make a meaningful difference in people's lives every day through hands-on support, advocacy, and genuine connection.

Position Summary

This full-time Direct Support Professional role is based in Franklin, IN, and offers the opportunity to work directly with individuals who rely on consistent, person-centered care. You'll support clients across essential daily activities, help them build independence, and contribute to their health, safety, and overall well-being. This position is ideal for caregivers who are motivated by direct impact and value building lasting relationships with the people they support.

Core Duties

• Provide direct personal care assistance, including activities of daily living and hygiene support
• Assist with medication reminders and health-related tasks as assigned
• Support clients in community outings, employment, education, and social activities
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of client interactions and observations
• Collaborate with supervisors, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
• Respond to client needs with patience, respect, and professionalism
• Help foster clients' independence, dignity, and personal growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and health screening
• Physical capability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications
• Compassion for individuals with developmental disabilities or support needs
• Flexibility and ability to work varied hours as scheduling allows
