Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

Dungarvin is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregivers to join our team in Greenwood, Indiana. In this full-time position, you'll make a meaningful difference every day by providing person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities and other support needs.

As a Direct Support Professional with Dungarvin, you'll be at the heart of our mission to help people live full, independent lives. This is hands-on, relationship-based work where your presence and consistency matter profoundly. You'll assist clients with daily living activities, help them engage with their communities, and support their personal goals. Whether you're new to caregiving or bringing years of experience, this role offers the chance to grow while making a real impact on someone's quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation
• Support clients in community activities, outings, and social engagement
• Help clients maintain health, safety, and wellbeing in their homes and community settings
• Document client progress, needs, and observations accurately and timely
• Communicate openly with supervisors, colleagues, and family members about client needs
• Assist with transportation and accompany clients to appointments and activities
• Support clients in building life skills and pursuing their personal interests

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Genuine compassion and respect for the individuals you'll support
• Reliability and the ability to show up consistently
• Physical ability to assist clients with daily activities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to pass a background check
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Openness to training and professional development
