Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver – Weekends

Dungarvin is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide weekend support at our Trafalgar, IN facility. This is a full-time position where you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who depend on our care services in Trafalgar and surrounding communities.

As a Direct Support Professional with Dungarvin, you'll join a health care provider committed to fostering independence, dignity, and community connection for the people we serve. Working weekends, you'll deliver hands-on, compassionate care in a supportive team environment. Core Duties

• Provide direct personal care assistance, including activities of daily living and hygiene support
• Help individuals maintain healthy lifestyles through meal preparation, nutrition guidance, and medication reminders
• Support community integration and social participation activities
• Document and report on individual progress, incidents, and behavioral observations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
• Respond promptly to individual needs and requests in a patient, professional manner
• Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and care team members to deliver consistent quality support

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Physical and emotional capacity to provide hands-on care
• Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for people with diverse needs
• Willingness to follow established protocols and respond to supervisory guidance
• Availability for weekend work schedule
