We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional to join our Day Services Program team in Norwalk. This part-time position is essential to our mission of empowering individuals to live fuller, more independent lives. What You'll Do
- Provide direct care and support to program participants during structured day services activities
- Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and health-related tasks as needed
- Facilitate community outings, social events, and recreational activities that promote independence and inclusion
- Document participant progress, behaviors, and support needs in required reports
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support individuals in developing life skills and pursuing personal interests and goals
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment that honors participant dignity
