The Opportunity
As Principal Data Engineer at Everfi, you will shape scalable data platforms that support critical decision-making and product needs. Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust end-to-end data pipelines and storage solutions that handle large-scale ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Lead the design of reliable, high-performance data infrastructure suitable for analytics and operational use cases.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, data quality practices, and observability across remote teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and roadmaps.

- Hands-on experience with cloud data services and infrastructure-as-code practices for remote and distributed environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and guide cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, security, and reliability for production systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills suited to a full-time remote Principal Data Engineer role supporting United States operations.
