PreK Teacher

Position Overview

Our talent team is representing a confidential education technology organization seeking a passionate PreK/K Math Teacher for a fully remote position. This is a unique opportunity to engage young learners in mathematics through innovative online teaching methods. We're looking for an enthusiastic educator who can deliver age-appropriate math instruction and build strong relationships with both students and parents.

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week, W-2) with flexible scheduling outside of class hours. Training and lesson preparation begin immediately, with classes launching in the summer semester.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver online math classes for preschool and kindergarten students on a weekly basis (approximately 10-20 teaching hours per week)
• Participate in paid teaching assistant work, observing and learning from experienced lead instructors
• Conduct trial lessons with prospective students to assess appropriate placement (5-10 hours/week)
• Grade homework assignments and provide detailed feedback
• Communicate regularly with parents to update them on student progress and areas for improvement (3-5 hours/week)
• Collaborate with the teaching management team on curriculum implementation and other assigned tasks

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field (Education or STEM-related majors preferred)
• Prior math teaching experience is a strong plus
• High-energy, enthusiastic personality with demonstrated ability to engage and excite young children
• Availability to work full-time Tuesday through Sunday (1-2 days off), approximately 2:00pm-8:00pm
• Passionate about teaching and working with children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with parents
• Stable computer setup and reliable internet connection
• Willingness to start in April 2026

Pay

Our client offers competitive compensation with multiple earning components:

• Teaching Hours: $35/hour
• Administrative Hours (lesson prep, grading, parent communication): $16-$22/hour
• End-of-Semester Commission: Performance-based bonus targeting 15%
• First-Year Total Target Compensation: $40,000-$50,000
