  • Maintain accurate, organized medical records and patient documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Process insurance authorizations and pre-certifications
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, test results, and administrative matters
  • Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Handle patient inquiries professionally and escalate complex issues appropriately

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or healthcare administration experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software; electronic health records (EHR) experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure in a busy environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes, or willingness to learn
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
