Employee Relations Advisor

Role Overview

The Employee Relations Advisor serves as a trusted partner to employees and leadership, bridging organizational goals with individual career development. You'll navigate the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding through career progression and transitions—ensuring that every team member feels valued, supported, and equipped to do their best work. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on employee advocacy, making it essential to WRI's success in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide confidential guidance and support to employees on workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and policy matters
• Partner with managers to address performance issues, conduct investigations, and implement constructive resolutions
• Develop and deliver employee engagement initiatives that strengthen team dynamics and organizational culture
• Coordinate onboarding programs and employee orientation to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
• Administer HR policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance across locations
• Design and facilitate training programs on communication, leadership, and professional development
• Collect and analyze employee feedback to identify opportunities for workplace improvement

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 2+ years of employee relations, HR, or human resources experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively across diverse, multi-location teams
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices in employee relations
• Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, impartiality, and emotional intelligence
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office; experience with HR analytics a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally
