About the Role
As a Gas Service Representative based in Woodland, Yolo County, you will work within the Gas Service department of Customer Field Service. This team handles the setup and activation of gas and electric service for PG&E's residential and small commercial customers. This is an onsite, individual contributor position within the Energy Delivery business unit, focused on Maintenance, Construction, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, turn on, and turn off gas and electric service for residential and small commercial customers.
- Perform onsite field service work across the Woodland, Yolo County area.
- Inspect equipment and verify that service connections operate safely and correctly.
- Respond to service requests and support the day-to-day operations of the Gas Service department.
- Deliver courteous, professional service during every customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform onsite, hands-on field work in the Maintenance, Construction, and Operations space.
- A safety-first mindset when handling gas and electric service equipment.
- Strong customer service skills for working directly with residential and small commercial customers.
- Comfort working independently as an individual contributor while meeting field service standards.
