Role Overview

As a Packaging Operator on the 5th shift at our St. Albans, Vermont facility, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment that prepares pharmaceutical products for distribution. Working on the overnight shift, you'll ensure every package meets our rigorous quality and safety standards while maintaining optimal line efficiency. This role is critical to Viatris's mission of providing reliable, affordable medications to patients.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery including filling, sealing, labeling, and case-packing equipment
• Inspect products and packaging for defects, ensuring adherence to quality specifications
• Monitor line performance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate production records and log machine parameters as required
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with shift team members and supervisors to meet production targets
• Report any safety concerns or equipment anomalies immediately

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry items regularly
• Comfortable standing and walking throughout your shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work the overnight 5th shift schedule
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous packaging or manufacturing experience is a plus
