NPD Sourcing Project Manager

Fortune Brands seeks an accomplished NPD Sourcing Project Manager to join our team in Deerfield, Illinois. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive sourcing excellence for new product development initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

The Opportunity

As NPD Sourcing Project Manager at Fortune Brands, you'll own the sourcing strategy and vendor management for new product development programs from conception through launch. You'll work at the intersection of innovation and supply chain, ensuring our sourcing efforts support aggressive timelines while maintaining cost competitiveness and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing processes for NPD projects, including supplier identification, qualification, and selection
• Develop and negotiate supplier agreements aligned with product requirements and business objectives
• Coordinate sourcing activities across multiple projects while maintaining project timelines and budgets
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for suppliers and sourcing initiatives
• Serve as primary liaison between product development teams, procurement, operations, and supply chain partners
• Identify and mitigate sourcing risks throughout the product development lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and sustainability standards for all sourcing decisions

What You Bring

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within new product development environments
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Expertise in supplier management, negotiation, and relationship building
• Experience with cost analysis, financial forecasting, and budget management
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing abilities
• Knowledge of quality management, compliance, and sustainability practices in manufacturing or product sourcing
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related discipline
