About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with cloud platform expertise. This is a long-term, onsite position based in Phoenix, AZ, requiring five days per week in the office.
Our talent team is working exclusively with a client who needs deep database engineering skills combined with modern cloud infrastructure experience on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable database solutions with a focus on data modeling, availability, and resiliency
- Develop Oracle PL/SQL code for complex business logic and data processing workflows
- Architect and maintain backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
- Work with cloud platforms including AWS and Google Cloud Platform to optimize database performance
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure database solutions meet application requirements
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues in production environments
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development and optimization
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform database services
- Expertise in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar platforms
- Deep understanding of database design principles including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization
- Experience implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ five days per week
