Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential auditing organization in Dresden seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead internal quality control for audit reporting. In this role, you will ensure precision and compliance across all audit deliverables.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Conducting formal and substantive review of audit reports, verifying numerical consistency, content plausibility, and linguistic accuracy
• Ensuring formal correctness, technical accuracy, and completeness of all reports according to internal quality standards and deadlines
• Reviewing tables and text for mathematical and orthographic correctness
• Identifying potential accounting errors and escalating findings appropriately
• Managing report files, including preparation and final formatting
• Contributing to the development, implementation, and monitoring of the internal quality assurance system in accordance with professional auditing standards

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail:

• Proven experience conducting financial statement audits
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Understanding of financial accounting and tax-related matters
• Experience in real estate or property management sectors is highly valued
• Structured, thorough, and reliable working style
• High degree of discretion and trustworthiness
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and video conferencing tools
• German language fluency required for report review work

This position is available full-time or part-time and offers flexible working arrangements including remote options.
