Marketing Acquisition Lead – Credit Compass

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization that has built a credit intelligence platform helping small businesses make smarter financing decisions. The product has gained strong early traction with paid acquisition already working across major channels, and our client is now ready to scale from thousands to tens of thousands of active users within the next year.

This is a high-impact acquisition role where you'll own growth across paid, owned, and partner channels. You'll scale what's working, launch new experiments, and build a structured testing program that uncovers which audiences find the most value and return regularly. This is a London-based position requiring at least one day per week in office.

Responsibilities

• Scale existing paid channels including Meta, Google, and TikTok by testing new audiences, creative variations, and landing page improvements to drive efficient growth
• Launch new acquisition channels from the ground up across paid search, paid social, referrals, affiliate networks, and partner distribution
• Define and validate customer segments through structured experimentation, identifying which business profiles find long-term value in the product
• Develop and test messaging frameworks, writing ad copy and landing page content that connects the right message to the right audience
• Optimize conversion from existing organic and referral traffic sources, turning lower-performing pages into engaged user pipelines
• Build a test-and-learn growth engine with clear hypotheses, A/B testing protocols, results analysis, and repeatable strategies
• Collaborate with retention and product teams to feed acquisition insights back into product evolution
• Lead the acquisition function with scope to hire an additional team member in the near term

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in acquisition or growth marketing, ideally within a startup, scale-up, or new venture environment
• Strong track record of autonomous execution—able to design experiments, launch tests, and move work forward without constant oversight
• Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests, interpreting results, and making decisions with imperfect or noisy data
• Data literacy and numeracy; comfortable reading dashboards, questioning anomalies, and using data to guide decisions (SQL not required)
• Analytical mindset with preference for structured problem-solving over purely creative or brand-led approaches
• Copywriting ability for ads and landing pages, with willingness to test, iterate, and discard underperforming variations
• Motivation to build useful products for small businesses and excitement about discovering product-market fit through acquisition channels
• Experience working in a strong analytical culture where experimentation and measurement drive strategy
