Managing Clinical Interviewer – Digital Mental Health Research (Doctoral-Level)

This is a remote, full-time leadership role for a doctoral-level mental health professional ready to bridge clinical expertise with cutting-edge research applications.

You'll oversee a team of clinical interviewers while maintaining your own active assessment work, supporting federally funded research initiatives at the intersection of clinical psychology and advanced digital health measurement. This position offers direct mentorship from licensed faculty and exposure to research shaping how mental health conditions are evaluated in modern clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for the clinical interviewer team, including workload management, quality assurance, participant engagement, and clinical accuracy standards
• Conduct and rate comprehensive clinical assessments and structured diagnostic interviews with research participants
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of clinical interviewers
• Facilitate weekly calibration meetings and inter-rater reliability reviews to maintain assessment consistency
• Screen participants for study eligibility and administer research questionnaires
• Manage accurate data collection, organization, and entry into research databases
• Serve as primary point of contact for clinical interviewer questions and protocol guidance
• Ensure full compliance with institutional, state, and federal research regulations
• Coordinate scheduling and participant visit logistics in collaboration with research faculty
• Participate in calibration activities to uphold reliability across the assessment team

What We're Looking For

• Required: Completed doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, or equivalent) in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychiatry, or closely related mental health discipline
• Required: Minimum 4 years conducting clinical interviews for research studies
• Required: At least 1 year training and/or supervising other clinical interviewers
• Preferred: Direct experience administering structured diagnostic tools such as SCID, MINI, MADRS, and/or HAMD
• Demonstrated experience assessing participants with depression and other mental health conditions in research contexts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to deliver clear, constructive feedback
• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail in data management
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving research environment with technology integration
• Flexibility to accommodate participant scheduling needs, which may occasionally include evening or weekend hours
• Ability to work effectively across time zones as needed for a fully remote US-based team

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $135,000–$165,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience.
