Senior EHR Project Manager, Acute Facility Deployments – Remote

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a major healthcare organization in their search for a Senior EHR Project Manager focused on acute facility deployments. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-visibility EHR implementation projects across multiple hospital facilities.

In this role, you'll independently manage OracleHealth EHR deployments and information systems projects, coordinating with hospital executives, physicians, clinical staff, technical teams, and vendor partners to ensure successful implementations that improve patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-facility EHR deployment projects from planning through execution and go-live support
• Coordinate efforts among hospital executives, physicians, nurses, technicians, systems analysts, and vendor support teams
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and contract alignment for high-budget initiatives
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project management documentation, tools, and tracking systems
• Deliver executive presentations and dashboards to senior leadership stakeholders
• Anticipate and mitigate risks across multiple work streams and resource groups
• Lead vendor engagements and ensure alignment with project scope and timelines
• Collaborate with enterprise PMO teams to ensure adherence to standards and methodologies
• Mentor junior project team members and promote project management best practices
• Champion change management and adoption efforts across the organization

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
• 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in technology or enterprise settings
• Experience managing high-budget projects and leading vendor partnerships
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain within six months
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
• Advanced project leadership skills with ability to lead large-scale, mission-critical initiatives
• Experience navigating matrixed organizations and aligning cross-functional teams
• Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills
• Deep understanding of project lifecycles and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

Strongly Preferred:

• 5+ years of experience with acute facility EHR implementations
• 3+ years of experience with Smartsheet
• Proficiency in project collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or Asana
