About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential information services client in a search for a Renewal Manager based in the United States (Remote). This role is critical to the retention and growth strategy of a subscription-based business, anchoring contract administration, renewal workflows, and client relationship management for a small, high-impact team.
You'll own the operational engine behind renewals—managing timelines, tracking risk, coordinating with account directors, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. You'll also personally manage a book of lower-touch, marketing-supported accounts, handling renewals, onboarding, training, and pricing conversations with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Own contract administration and renewal workflows across the team's portfolio; manage renewal calendars, keep account directors on task, and partner with operations on contract updates and amendments
- Monitor engagement and usage signals to flag retention risk early and coordinate with client success on mitigation strategies
- Serve as account manager for a dedicated book of on-demand clients—managing renewals, auto-renewals, pricing discussions, and account planning
- Deliver onboarding and training support to client users in partnership with client success, positioning product value and activating new licenses
- Maintain rigorous Salesforce documentation: log all renewal conversations, track opportunity status, and ensure transparency on account health and risk
- Support account hygiene practices including user activation/deactivation, surfacing upsell opportunities, and coordinating billing contact updates with finance
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of contract administration or renewal management experience (required), ideally in a B2B subscription environment
- Background in client success management is a strong plus
- Skilled at keeping others on task—diplomatically coordinating workflows, tracking deadlines, and following up persistently
- Detail-oriented with strong Salesforce hygiene and documentation practices that ensure visibility on account status and risk
- Client-focused communication skills: comfortable with value positioning, handling renewal objections, and navigating cancellation conversations professionally
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a personal book of accounts alongside team-wide renewal coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Comfortable working effectively in a remote environment
