About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential construction technology organization in Germany that is transforming the residential building sector through innovative renovation methodologies. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex building renovation projects from initial planning through completion.
This is a full-time position available in Berlin or fully remote across Germany, reporting to project leadership within a growing team focused on scalable building solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of large-scale renovation construction projects, from pre-planning and procurement through construction supervision and commissioning
- Lead project organization, scheduling, budget control, quality standards, and risk management with full accountability for project success
- Conduct regular schedule planning, monitoring, and budget tracking activities
- Coordinate closely with planning, procurement, and construction management teams to manage project interfaces
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout project delivery
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks before they impact delivery
- Identify optimization opportunities and contribute improvement ideas based on your expertise
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or comparable qualification
- Substantial professional experience in construction project management, ideally with renovation or residential housing projects
- Strong working knowledge of VOB, HOAI, and AHO standards
- Willingness to travel within Germany as projects require
- Exceptional organizational skills with structured work approach, maintaining overview even in high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented with strong affinity for numbers and data analysis
- Skilled negotiator with diplomatic capabilities and collaborative mindset
- Team player who enjoys hands-on involvement
- Enthusiasm for contributing to sustainability transformation in the building sector
- German language proficiency required for this role
