Manager, People Analytics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Manager of People Analytics to lead a specialized product squad at the intersection of workforce analytics and modern engineering practices. This is a remote role available across EMEA, LATAM, Canada, and the USA.

Our client doesn't treat people data as a compliance exercise—they engineer it into strategic products that drive organizational performance. You'll report to senior leadership and guide a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and UX designers who transform raw workforce information into predictive tools and real-time insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary squad including data scientists, software engineers, and UX designers focused on people analytics products
• Own the product roadmap for people science initiatives, translating business questions into technical research objectives and executable plans
• Move beyond descriptive reporting to build predictive and prescriptive models (e.g., attrition forecasting, engagement pattern analysis)
• Architect and maintain a secure, privacy-compliant people data platform that serves as the single source of truth across HR systems
• Develop AI agents and automation tools that surface actionable insights to managers in real-time
• Act as translator between technical and business stakeholders, turning complex data models into compelling narratives
• Drive strategy around high-tech solutions that maximize time for high-touch human interaction
• Ensure data stewardship practices meet GDPR and international privacy standards
• Travel internationally 2-4 times annually for team events

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Background in data science, mathematics, engineering, or related quantitative field
• Advanced expertise in statistics, data wrangling, and database technologies (SQL and similar)
• Strong coding skills in Python, R, JavaScript, or comparable languages
• Experience with software engineering practices and data visualization tools (Tableau, Superset, or equivalent)
• Proven track record leading teams and driving roadmap execution with a coaching mindset
• Demonstrated ability to design research methodologies and synthesize findings into business recommendations
• Willingness to challenge conventional approaches and persist through obstacles
• Exceptional academic performance throughout your education
• Business-level written and spoken English
• Alignment with values of precision, reliability, accessibility, and adaptability

Preferred experience:

• Familiarity with Airbyte, Ranger, Superset, Temporal, or Trino
• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Agentic engineering or AI agent development
• Product management background
• User experience and design principles
