Maintenance Technician I

Compass Health Network is hiring a Maintenance Technician I in Wentzville, Saint Charles County. As a full-time member of our facilities team, you'll keep our healthcare facilities safe, clean, and functioning so our staff can focus on delivering compassionate care to the patients and families we serve.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and carpentry
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and escalate urgent issues appropriately
• Inspect facilities daily to identify safety hazards, equipment wear, and maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Keep facilities clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and external contractors on larger projects

Who We're Looking For

• Technical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills in building maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification a plus
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
