Compass Health Network is hiring a full-time Community Support Specialist Youth in Union, Franklin County to walk alongside children and families navigating life's toughest challenges. About the Role
As a Community Support Specialist Youth, you'll partner directly with young people and their caregivers across Union and the surrounding Franklin County community. This on-site, full-time position centers on building trust, connecting families to vital resources, and helping youth reach their personal and developmental goals. A retention bonus of $1,500.00 is available for this position.*
Key Responsibilities
- Build supportive, goal-oriented relationships with youth and their families
- Help children and caregivers access community services and natural support networks
- Develop and follow individualized plans that promote stability and growth
- Advocate for the needs of youth across school, home, and community settings
- Document progress accurately and coordinate with the broader care team
- Respond with empathy and consistency to the day-to-day needs of the families you serve
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational abilities
- Comfort working independently within the Union, Franklin County community
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and reliable documentation
