We are representing a confidential travel technology organization in their search for a talented Machine Learning Scientist - Mid-Level to join their London team. This hybrid role offers the chance to apply cutting-edge ML techniques to real-world marketing challenges at scale, impacting millions of users daily.

Our client operates a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll deploy solutions that drive measurable business outcomes across digital marketing channels. You'll work with massive datasets, modern development tools, and observe the real-time impact of your modeling work.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine learning models to solve core marketing business problems including bidding optimization, customer modeling, revenue optimization, and attribution
• Identify new opportunities to apply data science and machine learning across marketing channels (paid, organic, search, affiliates, CRM)
• Automate ETL pipelines to support production ML systems
• Prototype, evaluate, deploy, and maintain new ML models in production environments
• Design and analyze A/B tests to measure model performance and business impact
• Develop novel approaches to analyze and interpret complex datasets
• Communicate experimental results and insights to both technical and business stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (or Master's with 2+ years of practical ML experience)
• Strong background in machine learning and statistics
• Expertise in A/B test design and analysis
• Proficiency in Python for numerical/statistical programming (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
• Ability to write and interpret complex SQL queries
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hive and Spark
• Demonstrated track record of deploying and maintaining ML models in production
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools
• Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
