Machine Learning Consultant (m/w/d)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential data science consultancy based in Munich. Our client specializes in end-to-end machine learning solutions, helping organizations across multiple industries implement data-driven initiatives from strategy through deployment. We're seeking a Machine Learning Consultant to join their growing team and work with enterprise clients on cutting-edge AI and cloud infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Research and prototype innovative solutions that create measurable value for clients across banking, insurance, automotive, retail, and other sectors
• Implement customer-specific machine learning use cases and guide clients through the complete project lifecycle from initial workshops to production deployment
• Improve client data utilization through advanced data modeling and visualization techniques
• Develop and deliver data science solutions that solve real business problems
• Coordinate cloud infrastructure projects including data lakes and data warehouse implementations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data engineering, software development, and cloud architecture initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field
• Experience and genuine interest in artificial intelligence applications
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
• Experience in at least one additional programming language such as Python or Java
• Hands-on experience using Large Language Models, including Agents, RAG, and Vector Databases
• Fluent English and German at C1 level or higher (mandatory requirement)

Strongly Preferred:

• Knowledge of visualization and frontend technologies
• Experience in cloud infrastructure development and management
• Background in consulting or professional services
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or Spark
• Interest in agile project management methodologies
