Locums NP – Family Practice Position in California

About the Role

This is a full-time locum assignment based in an office setting in Montebello. You'll work a standard weekly schedule of five days with eight-hour shifts, which includes one evening clinic session and one weekend day per month. This schedule supports work-life integration while ensuring consistent patient continuity of care.

What You'll Do

• Deliver primary medical care to patients spanning infancy through geriatric populations
• Manage preventive health, acute care, and chronic disease for a diverse patient population
• Provide pediatric services, including growth assessments, immunizations, and developmental screenings
• Offer women's health services, including gynecological care and family planning
• See 20 to 24 patients during each eight-hour shift, maintaining strong clinical quality and patient satisfaction
• Care for patients whose primary language is Spanish, serving agricultural and immigrant communities with cultural competence
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to support patient access to care

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted NP licensure in California
• Active DEA registration
• Fluency in Spanish (strongly preferred)
• Experience or comfort in primary care settings with diverse, underserved populations
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a busy community health environment
