About the Role
This locum tenens position provides scheduled clinical work in endocrinology with a Monday-through-Friday schedule. You'll manage a consistent patient volume of 14–18 patients daily in a collaborative outpatient environment. The initial commitment extends through December, with potential to extend the assignment beyond this period. Optional call responsibilities are available for clinicians who wish to participate.
What You'll Do
- Deliver comprehensive endocrinology care to a diverse patient population
- Manage chronic metabolic and endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid disease, and hormonal disorders
- Work within an organized outpatient clinic setting with clear scheduling and patient volume expectations
- Collaborate with nursing staff and support teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Participate in optional on-call rotation if desired
What We're Looking For
- Board-certified or board-eligible endocrinologist with active medical license in California
- Current hospital privileges (required for this assignment)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
