About the Opportunity
This full-time locum tenens endocrinology assignment runs Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain a structured weekly schedule while working as a locum provider. You'll connect directly with Weatherby Healthcare's experienced physician placement consultant to discuss all assignment details, clinical setting expectations, and how the role aligns with your professional goals.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide endocrinology care to approximately 14–18 patients daily
- Manage patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic conditions, and other endocrine diseases
- Utilize hospital privileges at the placement facility and maintain clinical standards within existing protocols
- Participate in on-call coverage as you choose during the assignment
- Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in collaboration with the clinical team
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Board Eligible status in Endocrinology
- Valid California medical license
- Active hospital privileges required
- Clinical expertise in managing endocrine and metabolic disorders
- Professional communication and collaborative practice style
