Director, Insights & Analytics

Join Highwire as a Director of Insights & Analytics in our New York office. In this full-time position, you'll lead our analytics and measurement function, partnering with strategic communications and marketing teams to uncover patterns in client data and translate them into business-focused recommendations that demonstrate measurable impact.

The Opportunity

As Director of Insights & Analytics at Highwire, you'll oversee our analytics operations and establish best practices for research, measurement, and reporting across client engagements. You'll work with diverse client portfolios—spanning B2B technology, financial services, and professional sectors—to build analytics frameworks that answer critical business questions, track key performance indicators, and quantify the return on communications investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analytics team, fostering a culture of data literacy and evidence-based decision-making across the agency
• Design measurement strategies and analytics architectures for complex, multi-channel communications campaigns
• Oversee research initiatives that inform strategy and validate campaign assumptions
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate data into clear, actionable narratives for client executives
• Partner with account leadership and creative teams to identify measurement opportunities and define key success metrics
• Mentor junior analysts and establish analytics standards and processes
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies in marketing analytics and communications measurement

Who We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in analytics, research, or insights roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
• Strong foundation in research methodology, statistical analysis, and data interpretation
• Proven expertise with analytics platforms, visualization tools, and business intelligence systems
• Track record of building and mentoring high-performing analytics teams
• Experience designing measurement frameworks for marketing, communications, or agency environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences
• Strategic mindset and ability to align analytics initiatives with broader business objectives
