Role Overview

As our Lead Maintenance Technician in Jacksonville, you'll supervise maintenance operations across our multifamily property, balancing safety compliance, aesthetic standards, and equipment reliability. This hands-on leadership position involves managing daily maintenance tasks, coordinating with team members, and responding to resident requests while maintaining the high operational standards that define EUREKA MULTIFAMILY GROUP properties.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across apartment units, common areas, mechanical systems, and exterior grounds
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all buildings, equipment, and amenities meet safety codes and community standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate emergency repairs to minimize resident impact
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment service, and compliance documentation
• Train and supervise maintenance staff to ensure consistent quality and safety protocols
• Perform skilled repairs and maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and coordinate vendor relationships for specialized services

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in apartment and multifamily property maintenance
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
• Leadership experience supervising maintenance staff or coordinating team projects
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs
• Excellent communication skills and resident-focused service orientation
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to be on-call for emergencies
• Relevant certifications (EPA, HVAC, electrical) a plus
