Data Science – Agentic AI (Need Locals)

Cardinal Integrated Technologies Inc is hiring an onsite Data Science - Agentic AI specialist in Los Angeles County, and we are specifically seeking local candidates ready to build the next generation of agent-driven intelligence in Woodland Hills, CA.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, contract engagement spanning approximately 6 to 12 months, based onsite in the Textile Finance area of Los Angeles County. Because collaboration happens in person, only local applicants will be considered for this Data Science - Agentic AI position. You will help design and operationalize the agentic layer that powers autonomous, multi-agent systems, applying deep data science expertise to real production challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and refine agentic data science solutions, working across agent-to-agent (A2A) frameworks and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Engineer AI/ML components that depend on vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and context engineering for reliable agent behavior.
• Develop, test, and optimize production-grade code using your chosen programming languages.
• Partner with on-site teams to translate complex requirements into scalable agentic workflows.

Qualifications

• Roughly 12 years of data science experience, including direct work with the agentic layer, A2A frameworks, and the MCP Protocol.
• Around 6 years of AI/ML engineering experience focused on vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
• Approximately 6 years of strong programming ability in at least two languages.
• Local to Los Angeles County and available to work onsite for the full contract duration.
