About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing open-source AI observability platform seeking a DevRel Engineer to own events and community engagement across EMEA. Our client has built strong product-led adoption through excellent documentation and close developer relationships. Now they need someone to extend that momentum into high-value in-person conversations, technical talks, and community gatherings.
This role is based remotely in Europe with regular travel to conferences, meetups, and customer events. You'll represent our client at the right technical venues, run live demos, build reusable event assets, and turn what you learn into better messaging, demos, and product feedback.
What You'll Do
- Represent our client at conferences, meetups, workshops, and community gatherings across Europe
- Deliver live demos and technical sessions on LLM tracing, evaluations, prompt management, datasets, and related AI engineering workflows
- Build and maintain field-ready materials including demo flows, workshop runbooks, talk abstracts, event landing pages, and follow-up sequences
- Organize client-hosted meetups, workshops, dinners, and technical gatherings around high-quality developer audiences
- Collaborate with internal field marketing, sales, solutions, and engineering teams to ensure excellent event execution
- Turn event learnings into actionable artifacts: refined messaging, improved demos, better documentation, stronger customer stories, and product feedback
What We're Looking For
- Experience in DevRel, developer advocacy, solutions engineering, field engineering, technical community roles, or product marketing for developers
- Proven track record speaking at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, webinars, or technical customer events
- Demonstrated ability creating technical content such as demos, videos, talks, open source contributions, or educational material
- Enthusiasm for travel, giving talks, running demos, hosting events, and engaging with developers and technical leaders
- Strong interest in developer experience, open source, AI engineering, and quality technical communities
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to operate independently without established playbooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Strong advantages:
- Engineering background or deep technical experience that allows credible communication with experienced developers
- Ability to write, debug, and maintain code for demos or workshop materials
- Deep knowledge of AI engineering, LLM observability, evaluations, agents, or developer tools
- Original technical opinions valued by experienced developers
