The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team in Gunzenhausen. As an Instandhalter, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repair, and optimisation of our industrial equipment and production systems. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology whilst ensuring operational excellence and safety across our facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to prevent breakdowns and extend operational lifespan
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective repairs promptly and effectively
• Conduct equipment inspections and testing to identify potential issues before they impact production
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations throughout all maintenance operations
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and support operational goals

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance or industrial repair roles
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
