Housekeeping Room Attendant – Experience Required

Hyatt Studios in St. Johns, St. Johns County is seeking a skilled, experienced Housekeeping Room Attendant to join the founding team at this brand-new property, now open as of April 2026.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to be part of something from the ground up. As one of the first Room Attendants at Hyatt Studios Jacksonville, you'll help set the standard for cleanliness, guest comfort, and hospitality excellence that every future guest will experience. These are full-time, first-shift positions — generally beginning at 9:00 AM — available across all seven days of the week. Weekend availability is required. The starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour, and team members have the option to access their earnings daily through on-demand pay.

What You'll Do

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to brand standards between stays, including making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies
• Inspect each room upon completion to ensure it meets the property's quality benchmarks before guest occupancy
• Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services in a timely, professional manner
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department
• Manage a housekeeping cart with proper inventory of linens, cleaning products, and guest supplies
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with hotel and brand guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Prior professional housekeeping or room attendant experience in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment — experience is required for this role
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards consistently
• Ability to work efficiently and independently while managing a room assignment within established time expectations
• Reliable availability including weekends and the ability to work any day of the week on a rotating schedule
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that include walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout a full shift
• A team-oriented attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering a great guest experience
