Health Coach Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital health client in their search for a Health Coach Manager to lead and develop a team of Board Certified Health Coaches. This is a remote leadership role based anywhere in the continental USA, combining people management, operational excellence, and learning & development in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Our client is building innovative solutions that combine technology, human expertise, and personalized data to support sustained health behavior change. As Health Coach Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling their coaching operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and member outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Board Certified Health Coaches through regular one-on-ones, quality assurance reviews, and performance management
• Design and deliver onboarding programs, continuing education workshops, and learning experiences that elevate coaching quality
• Develop standard operating procedures, coaching frameworks, QA rubrics, and best practices to ensure consistent, scalable member experiences
• Analyze coaching performance data and member outcomes to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead operational projects that enhance coaching quality, efficiency, and measurable member outcomes
• Partner with Product, Clinical, Analytics, and Operations teams to shape service offerings and coaching tools
• Mentor other leaders and contribute to scaling coaching operations across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Board Certified Health Coach (NBC-HWC) credential required
• 5+ years of health coaching experience
• 3+ years managing and developing Board Certified Health Coaches or similar clinical coaching teams
• Proven experience designing learning programs, facilitation, workshops, or continuing education curricula
• Demonstrated ability to create SOPs, quality assurance frameworks, and scalable coaching processes
• Strong data literacy with ability to translate insights into operational improvements
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience partnering with Product and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced technology environment
• Track record of building high-performing, data-driven teams aligned to quality standards
• Clear judgment, strong ownership mentality, and ability to influence product direction through coaching insights
