Head of Research & Delivery

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential legal market intelligence organization in their search for a Head of Research & Delivery. This is a newly created leadership position based in Leeds, working in a hybrid model (3 days office, 2 days remote). You'll be joining a growing multi-site organization with approximately 100 people in the research function, overseeing end-to-end delivery of multiple research cycles and products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery and execution of research projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management and control
• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across research products
• Manage other managers with accountability for a sizable team (35-40+ people)
• Support research managers in managing resourcing pipelines while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Own succession planning and talent pipeline development, balancing workload capacity across natural peaks and troughs in research cycles
• Implement and monitor appropriate KPIs to drive performance and identify opportunities for increased productivity
• Ensure accurate reporting and data on research stages is provided to stakeholders across the business
• Identify potential risks and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success, Product and other departments

What We're Looking For

• Proven background in resource management, workload planning and project management, ideally in an information, editorial or research setting
• Experience managing managers and being accountable for a sizeable team (35-40+ people)
• Comfort operating within a large research-focused department (approximately 100 people) and collaborating across business functions
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across Sales, Customer Success and Product teams
• Continuous improvement mindset with enthusiasm for leveraging technology, tooling and process optimization
• Openness to AI-focused solutions and process innovation
• Ability to provide strategic leadership while maintaining operational excellence
