About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential PropTech organization operating across Germany. We are seeking an experienced Managing Director for Property Management to lead operations in the Munich area. This is a senior leadership role combining strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution in residential property management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Managing Director of a property management operation with full P&L responsibility, budget oversight, and quality assurance for the Munich branch
• Lead and moderate owners' assemblies (Eigentümerversammlungen) with professionalism and confidence
• Maintain strong relationships with advisory boards (Beiräte) and property owners, ensuring excellent client service
• Provide both professional and disciplinary leadership to the existing local team while managing further recruitment and team expansion
• Optimize organizational structures by establishing clear workflows, digital processes, and reliable team responsibilities
• Implement central initiatives locally, particularly in digitalization, process automation, and quality improvement

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as Managing Director or authorized signatory (Prokurist/in) in property management, with focus on WEG (condominium) administration
• Deep expertise in WEG regulations and comprehensive knowledge of German tenancy law (Mietrecht), with ability to handle complex legal and commercial matters
• Proven track record preparing and conducting owners' assemblies, with professional experience managing advisory boards and owner relationships
• Strong commercial acumen including P&L and budget responsibility, combined with hands-on mentality and implementation strength
• Fluency in German (business level required for legal compliance and client interaction)
