Sales Manager, Natural Channel

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential specialty food client in their search for a Sales Manager, Natural Channel. This is a remote, national role focused on driving revenue growth and market share within the Natural retail channel across the United States.

As their recruiting partner, Get A Job.ai is seeking a strategic sales professional with deep CPG experience to manage key Natural channel accounts including specialty retailers, co-ops, and independent stores nationwide. You'll work with major distributors and broker networks to optimize distribution, merchandising, and pricing strategies.

This position offers the autonomy of remote work while building meaningful relationships with Natural channel retailers across the country. Travel expectations are approximately 30% (one to two nights weekly), with occasional weekend or evening commitments for trade shows and cross-timezone collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Achieve revenue targets and category market share goals as measured by internal reporting and syndicated data sources (Nielsen, SPINS)
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Natural channel accounts nationally, working directly with retailers and through third-party broker agencies
• Manage relationships with specialty distributors to optimize distribution networks and cost efficiency
• Drive distribution expansion across all product categories, including new product launches
• Build compelling, fact-based sales proposals that balance retailer profitability with brand growth objectives
• Manage trade investment budgets and account profitability metrics
• Provide accurate monthly forecasting for case volume demand and trade spend
• Direct and prioritize national broker teams for execution excellence on key initiatives
• Collaborate with marketing teams to share market intelligence and account-specific insights that inform Natural channel strategies
• Optimize distribution, shelf presence, merchandising, and pricing strategies across assigned accounts

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of sales experience within the CPG industry, including at least 3 years in key account management
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong proficiency with business tools: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Demonstrated expertise with analytical platforms: Nielsen/IRI, PowerBI or similar analytics tools
• Proven sales influence and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
• Experience managing broker networks for sales execution excellence (2+ years preferred)
• Background calling on Natural Channel retail accounts (2+ years preferred)
• Located near a major airport to support account travel and trade show attendance
• Flexibility for occasional early evening calls if residing in Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones

Pay
