About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential travel technology client seeking a Business Development Manager to lead sales expansion across the South Cone region. This remote role is open to professionals based in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, or Uruguay.
Our client operates a B2B travel platform serving tour operators, travel agencies, and online travel companies across 220+ markets. You will drive new partnerships, nurture existing accounts, and consolidate market presence through strategic relationship-building and technical onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets in your assigned territory
- Sign and onboard new B2B travel partners (tour operators, travel agencies, TMCs, OTAs) with comprehensive system training
- Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts, providing first-level support and ongoing relationship development
- Prepare, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements, including documentation and technical setup
- Monitor partner compliance with commercial terms and payment flows
- Travel approximately 50% of your time for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform strategy
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reporting
- Initiate and manage API integration deals with partners
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in the travel industry, with focus on B2B business development and account management
- Deep understanding of the South Cone travel market and B2B travel networks
- Fluent Spanish and English required; additional languages a plus
- Comfortable with up to 50% travel throughout the region
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced, technology-driven environments
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultural contexts in a global organization
- Experience with API technology partnerships is a strong advantage
- Must be legally authorized to work in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, or Uruguay without visa sponsorship
