About the Role
As the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Grand County High School, you will direct every level of the boys basketball program and set the tone for a competitive, supportive athletic environment. This is a full-time, in-person position based in the United States, reporting within the Athletics and Activities department of Grand County School District.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all components of the boys basketball program, including varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams, along with youth program alignment where applicable.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and competitive team culture grounded in hard work, teamwork, and resilience.
- Guide player skill development, game strategy, and overall athletic growth across every level of the program.
- Promote sportsmanship, accountability, and academic responsibility among student-athletes.
- Coordinate practices, game preparation, and program logistics in line with district and athletic guidelines.
