Full-Stack Engineer (f/m/d)

We are representing a confidential tech platform in Berlin that's transforming how flexible staffing works across Germany. As recruitment partners at Get A Job.ai, we're seeking a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join their product engineering team and drive end-to-end feature development.

This role offers the chance to work on both event-driven backend services and polished frontend interfaces, shaping technology that impacts thousands of users daily. You'll collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders while setting engineering standards and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own complete features from initial concept through production deployment and ongoing maintenance
• Build and evolve backend services and frontend applications using TypeScript and Java
• Leverage gRPC for service communication across distributed systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business, product, and data teams to deliver high-value, reliable features
• Champion continuous value delivery by advocating for quality and elevating engineering practices
• Drive architectural and process decisions that affect the entire engineering organization
• Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Enable the organization through tooling, documentation, and shared libraries

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record of consistently delivering complex, high-impact initiatives end-to-end
• Experience shaping business cases, collaborating cross-functionally, and measuring results
• Strong appreciation for observability, structured logging, and distributed tracing in production systems
• Collaborative and communicative style with ability to articulate trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven and outcome-oriented approach, capable of leading complex initiatives from ambiguity to delivery with minimal guidance
• Empathetic and inclusive mindset with broad understanding of different roles within product engineering teams
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Java
• Experience with gRPC and event-driven architectures
• Legal requirement: Must already hold the legal right to work in Germany (EU/EEA citizenship or valid residence/work permit). Visa sponsorship and relocation support are not available for this position.

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience level and our client's budget for this role.
