Growth Intern – Automation & AI (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential energy-tech client in Berlin that is building critical infrastructure for the renewable energy transition in residential real estate. Our talent team is seeking a Growth Intern - Automation & AI to work directly with senior leadership on scaling operations through intelligent automation and process optimization.

This is an on-site position based at their Berlin headquarters, ideal for a driven student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience building scalable systems in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head of Growth and CEO to build AI-enabled growth infrastructure and support project delivery teams
• Screen existing workflows across Sales, Partnerships, and executive functions to identify high-impact automation opportunities
• Evaluate automation potential by effort vs. impact and create clear prioritization frameworks
• Document process logic and requirements in a format ready for technical implementation
• Analyze process complexity and structure decision-making workflows for automation
• Build scalable operational structures, standards, and templates for recurring project types
• Develop internal processes and tools (e.g., in Airtable) to increase operational efficiency
• Implement concrete process improvements using AI tools and automation platforms
• Take ownership of cross-functional special projects in organization, tooling, and internal systems

What We're Looking For

• Currently studying Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with strong affinity for technology and AI
• Prior internship or project experience in consulting (Tier 1/Tier 2), high-growth startups (ideally operations or process optimization), or project management
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms—or eagerness to learn quickly
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to make independent, well-founded decisions and set clear priorities based on impact and scalability
• Strong interest in startups, energy, or real estate sectors
• Seeking a high-intensity, founder-proximate environment where you take ownership, build structure, and actively shape growth—not a 9-to-5 role
• Driven to become the best version of yourself and thrive in environments that unlock your full potential
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate (office is the primary work location)
• Fluent in German and English
