Freelance Tester (Faroe Islands) – Global Payment Research ($100/hr)

Overview

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential software quality assurance organization that needs freelance testers based in the Faroe Islands for international payment verification research. This is short-term contract work that can be completed remotely from your location.

You will help verify that cross-border payment systems correctly process transfers to local Faroe Islands bank accounts. The work involves receiving a test payment, confirming transaction details appear correctly, and documenting your findings with screenshots or brief video evidence.

Responsibilities

• Receive an international test payment to your local Faroe Islands bank account
• Verify that the payment amount, date, and reference information display accurately
• Capture screenshots and/or short video showing the received payment details
• Submit the requested documentation to the testing team
• Sign required consent forms before banking information is shared with the payment provider

Important: You will not be asked to send money, make purchases, transfer funds back, or use your own money. This is strictly a receiving and verification exercise.

What We're Looking For

• Currently residing in the Faroe Islands
• Active local bank account in Faroese currency
• Comfortable securely providing the banking details necessary to receive an incoming transfer
• Able to capture and share clear screenshots or video documentation
• Willing to complete consent documentation before participating
• No specialized devices required—full instructions will be provided

How We Work With You

When you apply through Get A Job.ai, you'll answer brief eligibility questions. Our recruiting team will review your responses and, if you meet the requirements, reach out with next steps. You may be asked to create an account on our client's testing platform to access materials and track the project—this setup takes approximately 30 minutes and may open doors to future freelance opportunities.

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $18 USD per hour for active testing time (approximately 1 hour total), plus a $100 USD completion bonus after successfully fulfilling all testing requirements. Note that the bank transfer itself may take up to 2 business days to arrive, but you are only compensated for the active work time.
