Territory Account Executive, Bristol/Cardiff

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Territory Account Executive for the Bristol/Cardiff area. This is a field-driven sales role where you will spend approximately 80% of your week meeting businesses face-to-face, conducting live product demonstrations, and closing deals.

In this position, you will:

• Execute 50–60 targeted business visits each week, walking your territory and engaging local merchants
• Manage the full sales cycle independently: generate leads, qualify prospects, deliver compelling demos, and close new business
• Build strong relationships with local businesses by being present, reliable, and consultative in your approach
• Develop a high-velocity pipeline through door-to-door outreach, networking, community events, and strategic partnerships
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor in key verticals including restaurants, retail, and service-based businesses
• Implement disciplined referral strategies to turn each new customer into future opportunities
• Maintain rigorous activity tracking and pipeline management in Salesforce
• Consistently exceed quota in a high-accountability, high-performance environment

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with:

• 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales experience
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
• Business development experience including hunting, prospecting, and cold calling
• Ability to drive deals independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Prior experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems
• Reliable transportation and residence in the Bristol/Cardiff market
• Collaborative mindset and team player mentality

Preferred qualifications:

• 2+ years in payment processing or related technology (payroll, loyalty programs, time management systems)
• 1+ year of relevant experience working in or selling to restaurants, retailers, or service-based businesses
